TripZapp Community Tarkwa Bay Trip

Public holiday? Say no more!! We were off to the beach.

We had it all planned within the TripZapp community. It was the first time the community would be out taking a trip together and meeting each other and we brought our friends along.

Google had said it was going to rain but our rainmakers were stronger than them. It was a bright and sunshiny day and it had all the makings of a beautiful day.

We met up at Fikki Boats Jetty and hopped on a boat to Tarkwa Bay beach. We got there in 20minutes, a little wet from the splashing water from the boat ride. Tents and chairs rented, we got the barbeque going and the coconuts coming with which to make our own cocktails with. It was the holiday after all. ;}

An intense game of Taboo started. Girls vs Guys. The guys won. It was funny and fun at the same time. We took a break from the games to dig into the barbecue and burgers. Some people took a dip and attempted surfing. We had a surfing guy. *cool face*

We were definitely in good spirits when a rasta man strolled by playing Bob Marley tunes. So you know we had to jam to that. We danced and sang and made our own remix and had no care in the world. We could’ve been in the Caribbean for all we knew. We tipped the rasta man nicely for his entertainment and took a looooong walk on the beach in search of great views.

We got up to all kinds of silliness on the way. From crab walking, walking on rocks and making human alphabets to doing headstands and back flips. (We had a lot of fitfam people apparently…lol) Oh and of course selfie-ing it all the way. We would have stayed longer if the last boat didn’t leave at 6.

So after what was a beautiful day at the beach which cost all of N4500 a person, we hopped on the boat back to land. But we weren’t done just yet. We took the party to a TripZapper’s house for drinks and a swim.

The mini trip was just what we needed. Cool people, chill vibes, ocean, sun and sand. We definitely know how to have a good time.
